“e-a-t: experiment and typography” is an exposition of Czech and Slovak typography, which had its première in June last year at the Biennale in Brno. Since that time it has already visited Prague and The Hague, and on 17 of March it will be presented in Bratislava.
The curators of the exhibition, Johanna Balusikowa and Alan Zaruba, are trying to present all the most interesting things in the typography of our neighbours. Works of 35 designers show the strength and variety with which they approach letterer’s craft. It is also interesting that both the Czech and the Slovak, in spite of their state separateness, underline the common roots of their typography.
If everything goes well, this exceptionally interesting exhibition will reach Poland this very year!
