EU vs Europe
Marcus Gärde
Are borders something that unifies people or drives them apart? If
you would make a cup of clay, would you make it so that it would
break if you used it? Would you make it so it wasn't possible to
drink from it? If we would make walls around people that separates
them from the ones they love or forcing people to be enclosed, would
that not be like pouring hot water into a glass? It would probably
crack and shatter.
Walls and borders if used wisely, gives comfort and strength to the people residing there. Maybe like a seed that needs the protection of the shell before it can become the oak, we to as human race in the future do not need our protection anymore and can grow to our full potential.

Where are the borders on a drop of oil? It moves and changes as it attracts neighboring drops. We have used it as a metaphor in this project (our poster) to illustrate the ever-changing motion of EU and as a snapshot of how elusive borders really are.
